Tussie Mussie favors for Amy's shower! Oh the cherry blossom sticks that Ket and I got this morning- so perfect to photograph these hanging from! Thank you Kim Spence for rushing me some more cones! I used old sheet music, vintage paper, tinsel garland and Dresden clovers to embellish. For this shower we are going with Amy's green and white color scheme. I will fill these with some sweets and little tokens. We have a few buckets of flowers from the wholesaler downstairs and will post some photos of those arrangements later.

We made ornaments from photos of Maeghan and Josh for the centerpiece trees- they supplied pictures from their childhood and from their courtship. We used Dresden paper, vintage diecuts, odd papers, semiprecious stones, pearls, sterling silver charms, and silver wire along with the photos. These will hang on their christmas trees in the years to come. When we get the wedding pics, we'll make some more!
This banner was hung above the dance floor. It was a bit longer and therefore harder for us to photograph close up. We mixed custom glitter colors to match just so!

Over the next few days we will post some more details from the wedding.
Table assignment cards- cut, printed, stamped, festooned with dupioni silk, alphabetized, and then strung onto ribbon! This old blackboard was the perfect place to put them up!
Jane's favorite art deco mirror found at Downtown Antiques in Nashville. (There were two sheets of old Italian news print between the glass and the backing from 1935!)The banner reads "Come fly away with me". Brian Best made these great farm tables for the pavillion at Front Porch Farm- we used them for food, cakes, sweets, and head table- terrific! Champagne bucket arrangements in blush colors- of course!
The pavillion/barn is a wonderful structure to work with. It took ten of us to get all the paper lanterns put together and hung! Thank you Scot, Lynn, Kathy, Brian, Daniel, Cindy, Justin, uncles and aunts!
Tables square and round, linen table toppers, vintage silver, trees, muslin swagging, TONS of gorgeous flowers, and HEAPS of small details in this lovely place.
Kathy Best had amazing props available for us- like this grand old window that we hung another banner on, behind the head table. We kept the arrangement here as simple as possible so as to showcase the beautiful newlyweds and their entourage!
We brought a few antique mirrors with us and found quite a few in Nashville too. Lynn painted them in varied tones of taupe. They reflected back sparkles of light all night long! We brought in trees, shrubs, and hydrangea bushes alongside all our flower arrangements. Kathy found two comfy couches, a happy yellow chair, odd end tables, and the swing! This was my favorite spot in the place!

Mae and Josh's wedding
Import Flowers in Nashville- what an incredible place! Lou and company found the most beautiful flowers in the world and brought them all to his store. Sharp, talented, helpful, kind and witty- best floral wholesaler ever.
Some of Jane's purchases for the Bridal luncheon. She made table bouquets and a tiny posey for each place setting.
While looking for antique mirrors, Jane found this great vintage hat to wear to another Southern wedding in September!
Bridal luncheon table bits.
Our car was pack jammed with all things floral!
Some of the flowers unloaded, freshly cut, and resting in buckets and in the fridge at the back- in the kitchen area of Front Porch Farms. 90 degrees at 3:00- hot hot hot.
Daniel was the handy guy when we needed help on the farm- 9:00 on Friday night- still lots to do!
