Table assignment cards- cut, printed, stamped, festooned with dupioni silk, alphabetized, and then strung onto ribbon! This old blackboard was the perfect place to put them up!
Jane's favorite art deco mirror found at Downtown Antiques in Nashville. (There were two sheets of old Italian news print between the glass and the backing from 1935!)The banner reads "Come fly away with me". Brian Best made these great farm tables for the pavillion at Front Porch Farm- we used them for food, cakes, sweets, and head table- terrific! Champagne bucket arrangements in blush colors- of course!
The pavillion/barn is a wonderful structure to work with. It took ten of us to get all the paper lanterns put together and hung! Thank you Scot, Lynn, Kathy, Brian, Daniel, Cindy, Justin, uncles and aunts!
Tables square and round, linen table toppers, vintage silver, trees, muslin swagging, TONS of gorgeous flowers, and HEAPS of small details in this lovely place.
Kathy Best had amazing props available for us- like this grand old window that we hung another banner on, behind the head table. We kept the arrangement here as simple as possible so as to showcase the beautiful newlyweds and their entourage!
Oh! The cakes!
We brought a few antique mirrors with us and found quite a few in Nashville too. Lynn painted them in varied tones of taupe. They reflected back sparkles of light all night long! We brought in trees, shrubs, and hydrangea bushes alongside all our flower arrangements. Kathy found two comfy couches, a happy yellow chair, odd end tables, and the swing! This was my favorite spot in the place!
